AI agents for manufacturers · ERP · WhatsApp

What delays delivery isn’t always on the factory floor.

It’s in the stalled quote, the distributor nobody chased, the sales rep without an answer. Northway puts AI agents at those points, connected to the ERP, with your team in control.

Three examples

Where your operation loses time.

It isn’t a lack of people or effort. It’s repetitive work, scattered across WhatsApp, email and spreadsheets, that holds up the order, the cash and the sale.

  1. Purchasing

The purchase that takes longer than the delivery.

    Today
Requests scattered across channels, quotes in email threads and orders recorded by hand.
    With the agent
The agent gathers the request, compares quotes from registered suppliers and records the order in the ERP as soon as the responsible person approves.

  2. Collections

The distributor who pays late, and nobody knows why.

    Today
Reminders sent by hand, terms that change from one person to the next and payments confirmed in a separate spreadsheet.
    With the agent
The agent follows the approved schedule, offers only the terms defined for each situation and records the arrangement and the payment in the ERP.
    AI agents for collections
  3. Customer service

The sales rep waiting on an answer to close the order.

    Today
Stock, lead times and order status asked on WhatsApp of the people who should be selling.
    With the agent
The agent answers recurring questions with approved information and hands anything that needs a decision to the team, with the history.

Rollout and assessment

It starts with one process.
Your team validates before launch.

Three stages with defined deliverables, and a baseline agreed up front — so there is something to compare the result against.

  1. 01

    Define the first process

Northway maps the stages, rules and a baseline. Your team validates the scope and identifies the people responsible.

  2. 02

    Connect and validate

Northway configures the agent and runs tests. Your team provides access and validates responses and handovers before launch.

  3. 03

    Assess the operation

We compare the agreed indicators with the baseline and review what needs adjustment with your team.

Questions from those who run the operation

AI agents in manufacturing, explained.

Do I need to replace my ERP?

No. We assess how to connect the ERP and the channels your company already uses. Integration availability, permissions and technical limits are checked before implementation. If a connection is not viable, we adjust the scope with your team.

Can the agent close a purchase or an arrangement on its own?

No. A purchase only proceeds when the responsible person approves, and the agent only presents the payment terms your company has defined. Anything outside those rules goes to the responsible person before anything is confirmed.

How much work will implementation take from my team?

Your company takes part in designing the rules, provides access and names who approves and who receives exceptions. Northway configures the agent and the connections, runs the tests and trains the team.

How will we know it is working?

We define the indicators for the first process and record a baseline before implementation. Then we compare results against that baseline and review with your team what needs adjusting.

Where do we start?

With a single process: the one that weighs most on your team’s routine. A 45-minute Google Meet call is enough to map the first one.

What if my process is not purchasing, collections or customer service?

Those are examples. We design the agent around your company’s routine and systems. In the 45-minute call, we map which process is worth starting with.
